SOLD OUT!!!! Silver Oak 50th Anniversary Paired Wine Dinner

Join us at Pangea for an incredible evening of some of the best Cabernet Sauvignons on the planet!  The star studded Silver Oak portfolio will be on display and paired with delectable fare from Pangea chefs.   Pangea & Missoula are so proud to host Silver Oaks and their only 50th celebration dinner in the entire state of Montana!  Their amazing wines, tradition and story will be on display for our community and wine loving guests in this grand celebration.

The legend of Silver Oak began in 1972 in Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley with a handshake between winemaker Justin Meyer and landowner Ray Duncan.  The mission: to craft ageworthy Cabernets in a house style in the model of the great chateaus of Bordeaux!  It didn't take long to succeed, realize the growing love of Cabernet and expand into Napa Valley.  By the 1980's they are credited with creating the "cult of cabernet".  

The legend continued with Ray's son taking the reins in 2002 and when a fire destroyed the Oakville winery in 2006 he vowed to build back better... and they did.  “Ultimately, the fire was one of the best things that could have happened to us because it elevated our wines to a new level.” - David R. Duncan.  In 2016 Silver Oak Napa Valley was honored as the world’s first LEED Platinum winery and the Alexander winery followed in 2018.    Now, not only is Silver Oak creating some of the best wines in the world, they're doing so in an industry leading, sustainable way.

This luxury dinner will feature many of the wines that have headlined and graced the Silver Oak portfolio for decades including Silver Oak Napa Valley, Silver Oak Alexander Valley, Timeless and Twomey.

Ticket price is $175/person (does not include gratuity) and will be held in our main Pangea seating area.
