About the Event

Join us at Pangea for an incredible event filled with exqusite food, paried with equally exquisite wine and loads of LOVE! This intimate experience will be held in our main seating area within an otherwise closed restaurant.  The 5 course culinary experience will be prepared by Pangea executive chef Shay Sweeny, Sous Chef Beau Rose and Pastry Chef Jason Christian.  Each course will be masterfully paired with some of the best wines from the famous Stags' Leap Winery portfolio and presented by Stags' Leap Ambassador Scott Bowden.

On one of California’s earliest wine estates, Stags' leap is home to a unique terroir and ideal microclimate supporting a classical standard of viticulture, land use, and winemaking that is as relevant today as it was over a century ago. An intimate valley within the greater Napa Valley, Stags’ Leap is a 240-acre estate, of which 85-acres are planted with grape vines.  Steeped in wine history dating back to the late 1880's there is enough history for an entire tome!

The 85-acre Estate Vineyard is divided into 23 separate blocks in the Napa Valley based on soil type and exposure to the sun, in a combination of valley floor and hillside slope plantings. Each block perfectly matches each grape variety to its ideal soil type. Most of the blocks are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Merlot. The exception is Ne Cede Malis Block 5 - all of which produce absolutely amazing wines!

Ticket price is $175/person (this includes gratuity) and will be held in the main Pangea restaurant.

Salad Course- Poached Pear Salad- Frise, radicchio, hazelnut vinaigrette, brie

Pairing: SLW Chardonnay

Entree - Duck Risotto- Arborrio rice, duck fat, seared duck breast, pickled asparagus

Pairing: SLW Merlot

Entree - Osso Buco- Braised Veal Shank, manchego white pepper polenta, herb compound butter

Pairing: SLW Cabernet

Dessert- Dark Chocolate Gateau- Raspberry compote, candied rosemary walnut dust

Pairing: SLW Petite Sirah
