SOLD OUT!!! Chateau Montelena Paired Wine Dinner

Due to popular demand we have added a second paired dinner (albeit the day before the original!)

Join us at Pangea for a truly one-of-a-kind event featuring an array of excellent Chateau Montelena wines paired with delectable fare from Pangea Executive Chef Michael Wilson.   Chateau Montelena owner Judy Barret and vineyard manager Dave Vella will host the event and provide insight to each wine and vintage.  Pangea & Missoula are proud to welcome such esteemed figures in the wine world to our community and wine loving guests!

Chateau Montelena, located at the top of Napa Valley in Calistoga, is perhaps best known for shocking the wine  world with their win of best Chardonnay at the "Judgement of Paris" in 1976.  In front of a blind-tasting panel consisting of 9 of the most esteemed French judges, Chateau Montelena's Chardonnay bested them all, infuriating the judges and forever marking new world wines (and especially Napa Valley wines) as global jugernauts.  A fantastic prelude to the wine tasting, ticket holders should watch the movie "Bottle Shock" which depicts the Judgement of Paris story in great detail.

 

Ticket price is $175/person (does not include gratuity) and will be held in our intimate Barrel Room (accessed via the main entrance to Pangea and stairs down to the wine room level).  Tickets will be limited to 26 total guests for this exclusive event.  Perfect for an early Valentine's Day gift!
